From 2026, motorway vignette prices have increased in line with inflation. At the same time, due to the renovation of the M1 and M30 motorways, several discounted options have been introduced.

A completely new product has been launched: the annual M1 regional e-vignette.
From 2026, this vignette provides road usage entitlement for the entire toll motorway network of Pest, Fejér, Komárom-Esztergom and Győr-Moson-Sopron counties.

The vignette can be purchased by anyone and is available at a significantly more favorable price than buying four separate county vignettes:

• HUF 15,000 for D1, D1M and U vehicle categories
• HUF 30,000 for the D2 vehicle category

With this new, lower-priced vignette type, the legislator aims to compensate motorists for traffic congestion and disruptions during the expansion of the M1 motorway.

In Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, road users can purchase e-vignettes at an even lower price due to ongoing road developments.
The annual county vignette costs only HUF 2,500 in the D1 category.
