Changes from 2022 on Hungarian motorways

In 2022, Hungary's e-vignette system was expanded with several new toll roads and new motorway stickers.

Therefore, do not get out of habit in 2022, find out about the new toll road sections!

- The section of the M4 motorway between Abony and Törökszentmiklós-west

- The section of the M30 motorway between Miskolc-north and Tornyosnémeti (the section of the M30 motorway bypassing Miskolc is still free of charge)

- The section of the M76 motorway between Balatonszentgyörgy and Keszthely-Fenékpuszta

- The section of the M85 motorway between Sopron East and Sopron North

- From January 1, 2022, a new regional e-vignette will be introduced: we can already purchase the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok annual region e-vignette, which entitles its owner to use the section on M4 between Abony and Törökszentmiklós-west.

- The Komárom-Esztergom regional e-vignette will be valid from the point of view of the M1 highway between the Szárliget junction at km 48 and the M1-M19 junction at km 112, so on the M1 highway between Budapest and Győr from now  Fejér regional e vignette is required!
ONCE AGAIN: You need 1 more regional e-vignette if you drive through M1

Important!!! Anyone who drives up on a toll road by mistake will have a maximum of 60 minutes from the time of the drive to purchase the right to use the road!
